From: digging for oil
check you v-band that holds the hotside of the turbo to the compresor,,,, there is a # 8 nut in there ,,,, also check you manifold for cracks and you o2 housing

Dealer said there is a bolt missing near the bottom of the compressor housing. They wanted $400 to take it apart and then see if it was missing or busted off.

I told them for that money I would gladly take my car back and do it myself. Of course they wouldn't let me talk directly to the mechanic to show me what was missing so I have a fan on it now to cool the car off and then I'll start pulling.

Luckily it's nothing major. Worst it could get would be to have to get a tap and dye set.

dealer is dumb or just didn't want to tell me the exact issue. A bolt rattled out of the hotside/o2 housing combo, 1 of the 5.

Can't get to the bolt without pulling the hotside off :-/

Yeah, all is fixed now. Took about 3 hours. Went quicker than when I first did the hotside a couple years ago.
