Moosa, got a few questions for you buddy
1) Dosen't the Cosworth Mivec heads comes with the springs and retiners?
2) How high can you rev the stock engine with that set up?

on the stock head he could probably rev up to about 8500rpms easily..

I'm reving my engine to 7500rpm, I know I can rev it to 8000rpm, but i still have the stock turbo.

yes the cosworth head comes with springs and retainers.
and i set my rev limiter to 8000rpm now...i wish i could go higher..my car will be much faster.

 

so far so good...i race and beat the living **** out of the car everytime i am in it..its just so annoying to drive it slow now..the external waste gate is so loud ..it sound like a freaking jet once boost hits.
hopefully it will hold up until next winter when i get the Shephard Ultimate Gearbox..

 

didnt get it on the dyno yet..i will only when i get it 100% tuned ... right now its about 80%..but lets put it this way..i am faster than a C6 Z06 from 80kmh to 250kmh...we were both ninja shifting however i break boosted...

kept pulling on him ended up with about 2~4 car lengths..god damn rexpeed ganador mirrors...very hard to view!!

I read some where that the cosworth Mivec heads are good for 10500rpm, why area you keeping it at the stock rev limiter, ae you waiting for the short block??
