I believe the GSC S2's have been revised recently and should make more power than the Kelfords...you can't go wrong with either!!!!!!!!!!

 

So you went with the Kelford 272s? Do you have a IX?

The thing is this test was not on a IX I believe.. it was on a VIII I think.. and a highly modded VIII, not an almost stock car like a lot of people drive who are looking for cams..

Are there any cam comparisons between the new GSC S2's and Kelford 272s on a IX with the usual bolt-ons (stock-framed turbo etc.)??
This would be very helpful. Clearly both cams make good power but I'm unsure of how both companies Mivec grinds compare....

 

nah bro, i have an Evo8...soon to be built like theirs. i have GSC S1's now but i am upgradeing with my build. i just made arrangements to purchase a set of Kelfords yesterday.

 

Im on the same boat.... cant decide between both....

 

as per my tuner, im going with kelford 272.
taking out my comp cams 272
results saturday

I would love to see this comparsion on a stock or near stock EVO. Great gains on some of these cams but most of us are not running race motor revving to 9.5k

 

I actually like the hks 272 on this test. no loss at low end but all gains at mid and upper end. Even though it didnt make the most peak power, I think these would be better for less built engines and a autox/road race setup,imo.
