As far as I know the Cosworth 272s are a very similar grind to a Kelford 272 but just cost more They make very similar power from all that I've seen

I would say that the newest GSC S2 cams will make the most power vs. any other 272* cam. I would even swap out my brand new Kelford 272 cams for a set of GSC S2's...IMO

I initially bought a brand new set of Kelford 280's but they never went in my car...I didn't want to trade any spool or low/midrange for a few more ponies up top, but I do like the new GSC S2's over the Kelford 272's...IMO

If you make power you won't be able to avoid parts breakage....unless you are a very talented driver. I will know first hand this season how my tranny, axles, and transfer case hold up to my 600+whp and 500+wtq running on slicks

I have the HKS 272's, both Exhaust and Intake on my 05 VIII and it doesnt lope. Not that it's a big deal and I hear that lope is associated with bad tune. When I start the car and the engine is cold it will lope very nice until it warms up and then it idles right at about 900-1000 rpm and it doesnt lope anymore. How would you like make it lope all the time at idle?

Lope isn't necessarily associated with a bad tune. Some of the bigger cams are going to lope regardless of how good the tune is. A good tuner can usually help keep the car from stalling at an idle despite the lope.

I'm not sure what I say is right,
but I think that the loping is (also) related to the rpms at which your idle is set, if your tuner rises your idle to 1000rpm you will have less lope than if it goes down to 790-800.
I have GSC S1 that "kinda" lope when my idle goes really low (for some reason I sometimes get 790rpms)

Mine used to lope before the tune but now it runs smooth as stock. Idle was completely unchanged. I am running hks 272's...
