So a HTA35R spools quicker than a GT3076R and makes more power?

I believe 50 trims and 30R are almost similar in price just go with a 30R and you will make the #'s you want 1/4 time you probably are seeking and great for Daily driving as well, But I would suggest the HTA35R over any 30R kit to be honest.

I assume you are talking about your own experience with a GT3076R? All I can tell you is that when I compare my car to AMS' test Evo, it is a very similar setup (built 2.0, AMS VSR intake, AMS I/C, LICP, UICP, ported head, supertech valves, AMS exhaust header). My car would have been running stock MAF, and AMS' speed density. The only other difference would have been the cams, and unless they had HKS 272s or similar in the car, the cams wouldn't have made much difference in spoolup versus my HKS 280s. So ... if AMS dyno chart shows a torque curve that is about 100-200 RPMs behind mine, and my turbo at the time hit full boost on the street at about 3900 RPM, then what's there to be confused about? And this is on a 2.0. A 2.3 will spool up between 300-500 RPM earlier ... again, I don't understand the confusion or resistance to this idea.

Here's the comparison shown graphically:

Wow that is impressive... 2.3L with a HTA35R is a compelling argument for sure...
