A large turbo is not going to make big torque numbers on 93 octane and "low" boost.

Its true whats all that Horse power without TQ.. TQ is what plants you in ur seat and pulls that evo off the line , horse power just get you down the other half of the track. you want good 60ft times TQ is how you get it . Down side of alot of TQ is how you kill clutchs , Trannies , TC and half shafts.

Oh boy, too many arm chair tuners/builders.

This car will run mid 10's on straight pump gas at about 134 mph.

Man, I wish I had more torque....my 1.606 60fts just aren't getting me "off the line" very quick.

ps. David, were all still alive and unscathed after this evenings events.

Dudes are funny on here I agree. Add a little race gas and those TQ #'s will sky rocket.

All the bigger TQ cars on here are eaither running meth or Race gas. I dont think many fools understand what a feat it is for these cars to be running 10's and trapping what they do on straight pump gas

Oh well just keep breaking records Dave there will always be haters.

I'll say it again I am not a Buschur nutswinger by any means. I dont even have any Buschur parts on my car untill I get them to build me a block that is

F&^% the Haters

It's a valid point to say the torque is not exceptional on these BR 2 litre builds. But you have to understand BR is making the best out of the setup. If you are hitting full boost after 5k you are not gonna make a lot of torque unless your power is massive.

All these BR 2 litre customers are essentially sacrificing a good chunk of torque to run a few tenths better in the 1/4 mile when they decided to go 2 litre over 2.3.

Until you drive one of our cars, please do not talk. The drivability is great from 2500-5000RPM. Yes, its not 500ft-lbs of torque, but who needs that anyways???

And we don't run the 2L over the 2.3L for a few tenths.....we run it for more reliability at the RPM's we spin it to.

Ohhh ok sorry I "talked" about your build lol. What are you talking about? Driveability? You probably make 100 hp at 4000 rpm lol. I mean seriously. Get over yourself.

And as for "spinning" the motor. Why do you want to "spin" it so high? Answer... quarter mile.

Get over myself?!?! That's funny. I have the numbers to back up my talk, I have the right to be proud.

You on the other hand continue to do a bunch of talking about how this is great and that is great and all this other BS but yet have no FACTS (yes FACTS make the world go around).

You and everyone else on this board can continue to hate and hate and hate. It only inspires David to prove every one of you idiots wrong and it only inspires Jeff, Eric, myself and many other loyal BR customers to go out and prove why we went to best in the business. That's why all three of us are on the top 10 list and you aren't. Pretty much all the cars in front of us are "tin cans" and I could care less about those cars.

Oh, and according to all the bench racers, yourself included....who cares about horsepower at 4000RPM.....torque gets you moving there.

STFU and go back to drinking your Margaritas in the Carribbean with your boyfriend Rico.

If horsepower and torque at 4000 rpms meant anything, my car would be fast. Unfortunately it doesn't and these guys would make me look stupid in the quarter.

^^^^HAHAHAHAHAHAH^^^^^

The truth of the build will be followed bye some real world track proven numbers for sure.

That is the difference here , these BR cars are not just glorified dyno numbers , they all go out and put it on the line and prove what the power is capable of!!!

When David puts out a 500+ whp Evo it WILL go 10's and trap mid 130's in the quarter for a fact ON PUMP GAS!!!!!
