To the OP, Very nice job like others said for self tuning, your dyno sheet looks right on.. I salute you!
Boost is free. Use what you got.

There is not a big difference from 30-35psi on the stock turbo.

The cam timing was left at factory spec for now. I don't have adjustable gears. There may be some more gain with some adjustments later but I wanted to see what I could do with it like it sits for now.

I agree, I just don't have the supporting mods or the resources to get there right now. However I am pleased with the progress so far.

I feel the same way. I just play with the tune a while longer to find the sweet spot. I figure there are a few hp left in it. Ill be going back to the same dyno soon to see for sure.

It's load dependent, so it will change with temperature, humidity and altitude. You set it once and let the ECU regulate the boost.

Either way, I would like to learn more about it. Last time I read anything about it, it seems as though people were having a hard time keeping it consistant. Sounds like I need to do some more studying

No the massive Tq spike is more attributed to the 6 Speed Tranny and its shorter gears.

What the heck does the gear ratio have to do with peak torque numbers?

Just for reference:

This is not my car. This is a customer of ours in which we built for them.

Thank you for your intellectual input Bryan.

Razorlab also uses a MUSTANG DYNO AWD-500.

Nice vid, and great job tuning the Evo. My next trip to the dyno should show numbers somewhere between yours and my last dyno. Ill keep all updated on my progress with it.

I read the post. Im just very unsure about the whole stock motor/turbo hitting
10s? If this was so easy i dont know why anyone would upgrade past the stock turbo unless trying to hit 9s... its just weird seeing fully built 2.3 gt35r evos going low 10s and u see a stock turbo ix with about a few grand in mods running high 10s? just seems like sum evidence is lacking..
