I'd much rather see you guys try new interesting ideas than chase after being #1 in a evo turbo size class. Keep up the good work! I'm still trying for low 10's in my car on a 35r

I agree with that 100%, That's really the reason for the upcoming R&D type work. If we were only going for a number 1 position, I'd just remove all the weight I could, go to the same doors I used on the Panda car (maybe even steal them back), remove the AC inside, etc. I really enjoy just creating/re-newing old ideas and applying them to modern parts. Fortunately, some of the good times have come with the current changes. Some of them will change again while others will be introduced. Like you said, I thnk that's where the fun is to be found now.

Have to go, the H2O intercooler cores are preheated and I need to start welding. I'll call you later.

You're such a piece of work. Now I know why you worked for so long in the background. The Team Owners couldn't afford to put you out with the media.

By the way I'm sending Butch a carbon fiber dog dish next week. You will have to hot glue gun some weight on the bottom. Bosco was sliding it all over the place before I fixed her's.

Butch has started dumping his bowl over. He never did it until he got old. It's funny to watch him re-pile the food with his nose. I have no idea why he started doing it, so don't waste the CF. Use it on something for our car. I'd like a CF transmission case when you have the time.

I just noticed your signature. It reminded me, is it Wilson Soup yet? By the way, Tony did say that when he went to 4th gear, it pulled extremely hard, more than he's ever felt before. That's the strong top end of the manifold doing it's job with the fresh air package I assume. Unfortunately, when the car died on the return road, he re-started it and it overlayed the 9.99 log in the AEM. I'm going to change it so it won't happen again.

Panda is still in my garage being neglected. We kept working on Tony's car and mine took a back seat. I think it still has 600 or so miles on it. It's basically sold, but the new owner and I have gentlemen's (imagine that, me in a gentlemans agreement) agreement that I'll deliver it when I can get around to it. He's the same, he'll take it when he can get around to receiving it. I say it's sold, he's says he's bought it, only thing that hasn't happened is the transaction. That's been nearly a year now. Oh well, it's been a great parts car. Just kiddin Mike, geez.

The wizard is a turtle with the initials of JK (and that's not JUST KIDDING). Well, I guess it could be if you count what Jim's Mom told Kit when Jim was born, but that's for another discussion. Kit, I feel for you man.

TopLevel, I just heard from one of my "Kids" and his feelins are hurt. You didn't mention my 6000 mile 99.5 VW Bug. We bought it new and it keeps the others company.
