We have a Evo 9 that is currently running a FPgreen that is moving to a FPred here in a little bit. I will show the data on this as well.

It's a actually an even better example car as it is one of our sponsored NASA Time Trial Evos that has broken a couple track records and has led his class by over 5 secs the last couple times out at the track. All while FPgreen powered.

We know it's currently fast, as it has been proven time and time again.

Thats a disappointment, I guess we will see if this continues to be the trend with the rest of them...

Interesting. Razorlab thank you very very much for doing such objective and comprehensive testing. I hate to say it but right now this seems to reinforce the conspiracy theory that the White was just a way for FP to recoup efforts and money from the aborted HTA Green development. I won't write the white off completely yet until we see some more results from others, but I do have faith in your abilities, so I don't expect any "magic" to happen elsewhere.

The white turbo is probably more of a replacement for a stock 8 turbo not a 9 turbo. Gains would probably be seen then.

Damn this turbo is starting to become an epic fail. Who knows i'll stick around and see who else messes with the turbo. I'm going to the EVO 9 20g tme or an FP green.

Me and turbodemon were talking about buying these FP whites for our evo 8's.

AFR was the same for both runs. I don't see others posting AFR for everything so I don't feel the need to either. I've already posted boost plots, Airflow, Lbs/min, load and IDC which is more than 99% what others post. I did not have to post this but I figured it would give the community more data to look at.

Wheel RPM. This was a customers Evo. I'm not sure of any other shop or tuner tuning customer cars going to the trouble of logging wheel rpm other then Buschur who I believe just recently did it once because it was requested by the turbo company.

I'm no turbo expert but I highly doubt 91 octane boost level is getting even close to maximum wheel speed on a turbo. The 100 octane tune is also a every day tune that can be used on a road course lap after lap, so I highly doubt it's running a boost level that gets close to the maximum wheel speed either. Both tunes are not running 100% WGDC at any point at full boost. I actually ran more boost up top on the 100 oct tune at one point but didn't feel the small gains where worth the extra boost.

Somebody already asked about the temps to which I replied to earlier in this thread.

We do not run a weather station on our mustang dyno, so these are uncorrected. I believe buschur does not run a weather station either.

All I can say is thank you very much for a independent review with nothing to gain either way.

Its a car with a reasonable amount of boltons that most of us stop at, on real world gas, and it saw a negative gain. Even if its a few degrees hotter now, I'm still massively dissappointed in the results you got, id be pissed and be looking to unload that hung of situational fail.

I hope whoever gets a red first with a similiar setup will provide an honest & unbiased review.

BTW, are you taking the White off and putting the superior stock IX turbo back on? I would, oem reliability vs rebuilt turbo reliability isnt worth it.. not that it looked worth it by the 10hp loss it provided anyway.

I told David about that also. I have never compared anything without knowing the weather conditions. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Thanks for the straight answers. Indy
