Consider a CNC ported head.
Thanks Ted.. I get 575whp now

Good morning @Ted B

I have a 2gb GSX

Specs:
2.3 stroker
GSC R2 camshafts
2g head built by Headgames with standard size valves
T4 twin scroll GTX3582R Gen2 in a 1.06 turbine housing

What what be the best cam setting for a board powerband?

Thanks again.

The GSC R2 is designed and timed for a broad powerband using a 100mm crank with 150mm rod length and a competently ported head. I like the timing as is, but for street use and best possible spool, I might play with retarding the exhaust cam 1-2 degrees to reduce the LSA from 112 to 110-108, although it will make for a choppier idle.

Thanks
I hope to have a nice powerband until 7000 rpm. Do you think is possible with these cams and turbo ?

After reading your previous advices I understand I have to retard the intake to -1 or -2 ?

Thanks

I do not know anything about the E9 turbo. The Comp Cams 280 set is good for a smaller turbo and street use, but does not have enough effective duration for the larger (e.g. GT35R) turbo setups that move the power higher in the rpm range. The intake cam would require 2-3 degrees of retard for better power, and 1-2 degrees retard on the exhaust.

Thanks for your answer.

It's the Evo 9 80 series turbo. This one is modded with new wheels and anti surge cover.

The engine is in a heavy Outlander for a street use.

I'm not sure why anyone would want a solid lifter head when hydraulic heads are being used for 1000whp+ applications, but without knowing anything about the expected use of this car, turbo size, etc., it is difficult to make any recommendations.

English runs hydraulic lifters at nearly 11k rpm making 1400whp. Going to solid lifters seems....pointless.

GSC lifters and S3 camshafts, and GSC new extra gnarly springs IIRC.
