You need to be looking for a new cam/valvespring set, because the HKS 272s are not up to the task. Until then, try -2/-2, but it's of little use.

GSC S2, straight up. In your situation, daily driving characteristics should not be compromised, and you should be able to find another 40-50whp(!) in the tuning.

With the S2 cams, what should I be running on the cam gears?

0/0 - straight up

Here's a worthwhile link:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ml#post5631514

With Martin's (AMS) car conservatively tuned at 418whp with factory cams, HKS 272 made 456whp - an increase of 9%. In comparison, the GSC S2s cranked out 484whp - an increase of almost 16%, while maintaining a good idle and sacrificing little down low.

I can't help you with those cams. AMS found them not to agree with the published specs (see the link I posted above), so that makes adjustment a blind guess. What I can tell you is they did not make good power until they were adjusted. Sorry.

Cossworth Cam Settings?

What exhaust cam setting would you reccomend for my IX.

Here is my setup
Cosworth M2, Supertech dual valve springs, valves.
2.0 LR 685 HP 485 TQ
HTA 3582 T3 single scroll

Would I see any added spool if I retarded the exaust cam?
Do you think advancing the cam would net noticable horsepower?

Cosworth's unwillingness to provide detailed cam specs (at least online) prevents you from getting a solid answer. Based upon what I know, the short duration of that exhaust cam lends reason to retard it by a degree or so, but only testing will provide an answer. Regardless, the MIVEC settings will have a greater impact on power.

I have hks 272 cams and hks camgears

3" exhaust from turbo,
walbro 255
hks mushroom filter
Evo9 turbo ( 49378-01571 )
Hks hardpipe intake
Evo9 Bov
Hks 272 cams and gears
New intercooler
ngk sparkplugs

My tuner setup the camgears for most hp

I think it is

intake is retarded 8* and your exhaust is advanced 4*

I make 371hp
Not to happy with that

What u think about my cam gear settings?
