Update (Includes MAF Translator Review) **Photos**

A review from this post. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=348954

I have been running a MAF translator for about 1 month now.

Setup:
ETS 4" Intercooler
ETS 2.5" Short Route Upper Intercooler Piping
ETS Small Battery Kit
ETS 4" Intake with filter
GM 3" MAF Sensor
MAF Translator (Still have not received)
Tial 50mm BOV
Full Race Manifold t3
Full Race 3" Downpipe
Garrett GT3076r
Tial 44mm Wastegate
PTE 780cc injecctors

I place an order from Tom on may 1st-2nd, and received everything a few weeks later, but did not receive the MAF translator due to it being on back order. I quickly installed all the parts and ran the stock MAF sensor with an open element intake with a open atmosphere BOV.

Stock MAF + Open Element BOV:
The car ran very well at WOT with the new additions. The drivability at partial throttle was very nerve racking. The car would sometimes stall and drove poorly. I put up with this for about a month until the MAF translator came in.

MAF Translator + Open Element BOV:
Once the MAF translator came in, I installed it. The install took about a hour long, just sure I have good connections with the pins and extending the tac signal wire. Once I dialed in the settings on the MAF, the car drove completely different. My A/F ratios are completely dead on at WOT and Partial throttle. The car is a complete animal at only 20-21 psi. Evoscan's horsepower calculator says its around 395-410whp. To say the least, I am very impressed with the simple use of the unit. It is very very easy to tune with.

Thank you Tom at ETS for everything.

**** Only issue I am having problems with are the vacuum lines. I feel I am always fixing a vacuum leak everytime I wash the car/change oil. So I ordered a kit from www.pneumatickits.com and Ill see if that works to fix my issues. The kit works well on my ITR K20 Turbo****

the reason evoscan reads so high is because it gives out hp and tq based on the logged load, and with a MAF translator, your load is gonna be off the scale compared to another car with similar mods.

btw, are you using maft with a blowthough maf or with a speed density setup?
