boosting too high?

I'm pretty new to this stuff, but my Evo IX was stock when I got it. I put a TBE, IC pipes and intake. Now my car is boosting 25 psi and doesn't feel right WOT. I compared the stock ROM to mine and its exactly the same. Do these basic bolt ons change the boost that much? Because in my understanding, I should be only boosting at 20 or 21 psi. No MBC btw.

Brandon, that turbo back exhaust frees up back pressure causing your boost to raise....your car not feeling right is it prolly retarding timing,or hitting fuel cut.

if u need any help shoot me a PM,i have a MBC FS also

do you have a mbc? If not, are the lines that control your boost on correct?

just read, scratch the mbc part. There is something wrong, those parts will not cause your boost to rise that much. What were you at before these mods?

In order to manage your boost level, I would get a electronic boost controller with a boost gauge. I purchased the AEM TRU-BOOST recently because I wanted to manage my boost level properly. I used to have a Hallman Pro mbc, but I later got the ebc since it holds boost better and it had a boost gauge with it. Take it to a reliable Evo tuner so they can help you cure the boost problem also.
