Question flowmaster 40's Exhaust

Ok i have a old 40 series flowmaster laying around and i was wondering if it would be worth while putting it on my evo or will it just cause problems/ decrease performance? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

well it really shouldnt hurt to much. i'm not sure if they cause to much back pressure compared to stock. obvisouly it's not the most free flowing muffler available. although i to would like to hear that sucka on lol.

I'm sure it's better than stock, but it's chambered, not straight thru, so even an ebay fartcan would perform better...
But if you want to hear the sound... by all means

It is gonna be a burden the chambered mufflers on turbo cars, there back pressure increases exponentially, thats why stock exhaust have a valve in them, the flows don't. I agree a ebay fart can would be better

now what do you mean by burden, is it going to lose some power or just not as good as a high flow muffler?
