They are longer than the replacement plugs. The plugs I used were Autolite Double Plat. APP3924 (its all they had at AutoZone).

Just look on sparkplug.com. The autolite threads are 19mm long, the Denso are 26.5 mm.

so are the shorter autolites ok then?

just get the ngk bpr7eix and stop messing around before you blow something up.

The autolites work, but when you go to sparkplugs.com, they list the same autolites for the Evo 8. So does Autozone. So I hope they come out ok.

yea its just odd to me that these apparently work, but have a shorter reach.

NGK - ILFR7H
Denso - IKH22

1 step colder:

Denso - IKH24
