Best hotside for 2.3 liter and HTA 35r .82 or 1.06???

I'm trying to decide what hotside to put on my HTA 35r.

either a .82 or 1.06 BUT I've heard that not all .82's perform alike even though they may both be a .82

anyone know what .82 housings buschur uses???

also, has anyone heard of the garrett v-band with a 3 inch outlet?
does v-band have any performance advantages over the standard 4 bolt or is it purely for convienience???

I'd really appreciate ya'lls help

thanks,
John

I use a .82 on mine.

I would think the 1.06ar would make it way to lagy.

Hi

What its the propouse of the car?

From my experience.. the 3 vband garrett housing will give you a very minimal spoolup and topend gains
Is the 1.06 housing TS type? if so are you going to use a TS manifold?

Good luck.

buschur uses a .82... don't use anything bigger than that... not even worth it.. unless you are doing something choked up like a t3 twinscroll (divided housing) and need the extra flow.. for singlescroll stick with .63 to about ~600awhp and 600awhp+ .82..

the purpose of the car is one hell of a street car that I can take to the quarter mile track 8-10 times a year

I'm thinking the .82 will be my best bet.

Does anyone know the brand of the .82 housings that buschur uses?

The 1.06 seems to have a huge lag penalty for minimal gains in power.
