this is problem number 2 of my evo...
so when I start my car and begin to pull out of my driveway I turn the wheel and reverse and I get a clicking sound/ feeling in the floor/pedals...then I put it in first and turn the wheel the opposite way start to move forward and get it again...

when im going from a stop light the clicking sometimes comes back...then finally when i get home and turn the car off it feels like something is loose when the engine shuts off...it doesnt happen all the time...sometimes I shut it off and its normal and sometimes it feels like something is loose in the floor/pedals...

any ideas?

clicking noise when turning the wheel is usually an indication of a bad cv joint.. check the axels and make sure the boot is not ripped.

 

I'm going to bump this up because I have the EXACT same issue with X 250 miles and 2 days old.

Any more info same issue different year?
