Evo problem! help if you like.

So after abuot 20 minutes of driving on the highway then on to local on a 10 mph turn my car turns off, everything shuts down. I then turn the car on, it started then turns off, this happens for 3 attempts so I decided to pump a bit of gas and finally it stays on. Upon the car being on the RPM stumbles like crazy.. going up to 1000rpm then drops to 200 then goes back up so I decided to let the car idle for a bit in that state. After about 5 minutes, the car idles fine and everything was back to normal so then I decided to drive home. the car seems to drive fine now. Sometimes the car would stumble while driving, when I step the gas a bit, it would jerk lightly, the rpm wouldnt raise unless I floor it but it accelerates really slow and this happens randomly. The only way to get rid of this problem is when I pull aside and let the car idle 4-5 minutes then the symptoms would go away. I've checked the MAF sensor and it seems to be in tight. any clues to what the problem is?

Something sort of similar happened to me when I forgot to hook up the vacuum line to my intake after doing some work on it. Check and make sure everything is hooked up! Zip ties are your friend lol

Sounds like a vacuum line isn't hooked up or loose, or a part of the intercooler system is loose. Check all lines and go from there.

They are the little rubber lines, less than a centimeter wide, that are around your intake area. I really dont know how to explain them well haha but they hook up to your intake and boost controller etc... hopefully that helps? Just look around your intake area and make sure there is not anything hanging loose or not snug over where it should be.

Id start with this simple fix solution then check your couplers on your FMIC and such after.

I had some time at work and found this for you as an example. The lines like the ones that go into the Grimmspeed EBC in this picture are the ones you should check.

Then I would check into some of the other issues given. Better to check the cheap possible issues before throwing the kitchen sink at it.
