I've been reading through this thread but what I want to know is...what do you think the best injectors are for the red or does it really matter? I was planning on getting 880's unless I needed bigger. But 880's from who is what I need to know.

Search man. I hate when people clog threads with entirely subjective questions.

9sec9 trapped 145 using a red. That translates to around 550 on Buschurs dyno or 625 on a DJ.

See, entirely subjective. Ask what they trap next time to get a realistic idea of performance.

anyone been porting their REDS? Just curious because of the boost creep issues I've been hearing about. I'm thinking of going with the QTP Dump tube and porting the hotside of my RED. Any suggestions?

Stock ignition setup works fine for over 500 WHP. Save your money.

1. yes on e-85 and only 33% meth
2. Dougs dyno power in Las Vegas, NV.

Who are you having tune your car? What Dyno do they use?

I haven't got mine yet.. ordered middle last month.... but I have epm dump o2 and I''m goign to be sending my hotside when I get it off to be ported and coated as well with the manifold.

Don't think you will have creep with dump...

anyways, why you not go with epm dump instead of qtp dump cost?

I disagree, while this maybe true for some it does not apply to everyone. I'm at 405whp(Dynojet)@28psi stock turbo and my stock ignition fails at high rpms. The only way to find out if yours will hold is to try it out yourself.

I have to agree. I went to an HKS amplifier years ago and haven't had a misfire since. Closing the gap is not a long term solution. I call it a track fix or bandaid. If it misfiers at higher power levels buy an amplifier. Coil on plug set up would be nice too!
