Az3ar stopped by today to take a look at the car and hear the noise today and said at idle it sounded normal but thinks that something in the valve train might be coming loose. he also said the car need alot of general maintenance done. so what i am going to do is tow it to a shop tomorrow and have them diagnose it and get what ever is wrong fixed and checked out. so i will keep all of you posted what is found causing the problem

Yes I saw the car today, I don’t want to go into too much detail but the car needs a lot of basic maintenance. I advised him to do a compression check and a leak test first. Something is loose in the head however the engine is spinning fine.

i was just gonna post and say spun bearing.
happened to me this weekend. oil light flickered at idle after a track run. dismissed it knowing the oil pressure sensors have issues.
on the way home, i hear a very light ticking noise, not even a knocking noise. and it seemed that it was coming through the top.
pulled the oil pan last night and #4 rod bearing was slightly worn down.

Damn Im getting the same issues for my EVOSIS. I have been using 5w30 like a chooch. Good thing my banana is due for an oil change. I'll be going for the recommended 10w30.

As for my case, the check oil light would flicker off and on while at idle. I am not getting any ticking noises though. I'm guessin mine has to do with more electrical more than anything. Did you guys say the oil sending unit is underneath the IM????
