What is a safe boost # on stock 4g63?

The safe boost # on stock 4g63 depends on a list of things:
angle of peak pressure (afr/timing)
octane (duh)
rate of combustion (afr/fuel of choice)
VE (camsettings/cams)
IAT (ducting/cooling)
backpressure
oil pressure/clearance/weight
health of engine
and most of all, your wallet!

The IX´s MIVEC head is less knock sensitive than the VIII cylinder head. Thus, the Evo IX´s can safely be tuned to run a couple PSI more boost than the Evo VIII´s can on any given octane level of gasoline. Do you have an VIII or a IX, OP?
