I did a search and not every mod is the same and not every dyno is the same. I looked through so many posts. If people would keep their mouths shut and not put usless info in threads, maybe someone could get somewhere!!!
Why are soo many people posting? If you guys want him to do a search then ignor the thread. All your doing is bumping it and then the next person with similar questions who searches and finds this types of threads also gets no answers.
If a topic is going to be beat to death, then let it at least have the answers in it somewhere with out useless posts ! If it is really beat to death topic then only 1 person first to post search should be sufficent, everyone else that dont want to be helpful because the thread starter didnt search, then ignor the thread. Let it die out or the mods lock it/delete it.
How many times have I searched and kept wasting time reading through Cant Understand Normal Thinking peoples uselss posts just to find the answer burried someplace.
In contribution to the thread, from what I have read the evo stock motor can handle up to around 500 whp with a good tune. (Dependin on dyno)
No one will be able to approximate or even give you a guarantee of which power level can handle up to 2 years because they dont know. Also tuners cant either because it would affect their credibility and possible responsibility if something happens since many factors can be involved. It all depends on how the car is driven exactly, possible carried over factory defect that didnt show up until more stress was put on, the tune, oil used and intervals changed, luck, gas used, possible bad gas causing knock (wrong place at a wrong time), unknown defective spark plugs, injector clogged, you the driver didnt give proper warm up before beating on it, for some reason the oil pump went out, the moons gravitational pull etc....
The possiblities are endless so no one can guarantee it unless they want to warrantee something that is guaranteed not to last forever and/or will be beaten on . Only thing that we can do is let you know that the evo motor has handled 450-500 whp with stock internals.
Even at 350 whp something might still go wrong. But as mentioned earlier the more power you make the more risk.
In my opinion you should have gotten the BBK because that turbo would have kept you further from the envelope of breaking things with pump gas. Also it will spool a lot quicker. The red with high boost would bring you too close the edge possibly even surpassing it. But since you already spent the money on the red, keep it on pump gas and boost area, then you should be ok but still with no guarantees. In other words dont pass 450 whp dynojet and get a very safe tune from some one reliable and excellent reputation.

Very good advice

I'm sick of people who get tired of the types of posts they see in here, whether there just plain stupid or asked a thousand times. If you see something that bothers you, DON'T REPLY! Go to the next thread and maybe it's something new and different. I doubt it but maybe you'll get lucky. I've been reading this forum for almost seven years and I've seen these kind of replies as much as I've seen the same questions asked. It's just plain getting old. At least you did add your two cents to thread. You didn't have to but you did, but then again, that kind of contradicts your entire first paragraph.
The problem with this forum is that people such as yourself feel that it's wrong for people to try and help someone out who has questions. Just because the questions has been asked more then once doesn't mean the poster can't ask the question again. Some people don't have time to read through thousands of threads to find the answer to a question. I'm pretty sure 99% of the answers to questions are in the search button but could you imagine if everyone actually used the search every single time, there would be no posts. Then why would you even need a forum? It would then just be a book of answers. The replies are not always the correct answers but a lot of it is good information that might help someone decide the right path to take.

I was referring to all those posting to SEARCH and not helping with the answer. It was not torwards those that are contributing to help the thread starter out.
It will handle 500WHP fine. Abuse is key. If you abuse it it'll pop. Remember this is the 4G63, it is QUITE strong, detonation bends rods. But if you can make 500WHP safely I'd say you would be fine. It would certainly handle any stock frame turbo including the red.
