Question whats needed for a transfer case rebuild?

So a local transmission shop that works a lot with AWD's and 4WD's said that they could rebuild my Transfer case and install a front LSD for about $500. I just have to provide the parts needed. So what exactly it need for a rebuild and Front Diff swap, and about how much would it cost. Thanks!

$500 and you buying the parts would be wayyyy to much! Let someone that has specialized in the types of cars handle it.

Well you need a helical lsd, or quaife, whichever one you want to go, and new seals and o-rings as well, and probably some other minor things from mitsu. but you should just go to shep and for a 1000 he'll rebuild it and put in an lsd, which will be cheaper

I havent heard of anyone in CA offering tcase rebuilds.

In most cases transfer cases / trannies are shipped to Shep or TRE for repair. Dont skimp on the shipping materials or insurance if your not using the round trip shipping option. Get a rubbermaid box as suggested.
