Sell your Lancer, and your Chevy S10. Save up $15,000 more and buy an Evo

Cheaper, easier in the long run

you'll have a lot of work ahead of you. Oh and a good chunk of change and time to do it as well. I think it would be easier to swap a 4g64 and do an evo head swap, then boost that motor. Check out the lancer section of the forum... Pretty much every evo owner on this site will tell you to sell your car and buy an evo. That's just boring though.

buy an EVO. not much to like about a FWD lancer with boost, I mean torque steer is cool right?

+1 on this... from what I've heard, the Evo motor is far from a "drop in" swap. The Good luck with your build!

i had a 3rd gen eclipse and the evo motor can swap into those but i knew i would be way way more happier with an AWD EVO! so i sold the car and got a loan and BOOM! i have an evo!
