Precision Turbo 6262 daily driver???
After hearing what they said, I stick with the 62.62 as my bang for the buck favorite
Nothing like rolling into it in 2nd or 3rd and lighting up all 4 tires - I am addicted to the 62/62
I just spoke to Precision Turbo today - they say we are looking at mid to late February or March

When i say that lag is over rated in talking in reference to the op's question about the 6262. I run one daily driven(82a/r) and after 4500 its all hell. I dont see why that should be an issue, if racing from a roll you will be high enough in the revs where lag wont be an issue. When at the track 2 step allows you to launch in boost. I drive the car everywhere and full boost is a downshift away.
To the op get the 6262 the lag IS overated. (on this turbo)

I LOVE the Kick when the bigger Turbos come up. it's like jumping into light speed. If you want it earlier just down shift, and it's there. My 35R has to go I need more that 555 whp, i'm going for 700whp with 93 and alky, about 800whp on race gas. I'm looking at the 6262/ 850R, or 6765/ 950R, then I'll really be making the jump to light speed. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning I can't wait!!!

I was about to say on my stock ECU, and block I had 548whp, using 93 octane fuel, and alcky/meth, with a 35R at 30 psi. I also had 1000cc injectors, warlbro 255 fuel pump, AMS VSR, AMS exhaust manifold, and Cosworth cams. Quick wasn't the word,....more like Terrifing. The alcohol is very important you run out the pistons melt...........I now have a 2.3L
To put all these on a yardstick, the HTA3582R spools quickest, and is proven capable of 750whp. The HTA3586R spools a bit slower (like a regular 35R) and appears to be ultimately capable of upward of 800whp. The 6262 and 850R appear to be in the ballpark spoolwise, and also capable of ~800whp.
One simply has to evaluate his own priorities and decide.
