Get an intake. At your power level, the stock airbox is a restriction.

I just installed Tephra V7 on my car and did a quick retune since it has big maps and I have to convert the previous maps. During conversion I did a few changes and was able to get a better curve now.

Dotted is stock turbo, stock cams and stock intercooler.
Solid is Kamak 20G, Kelford 272 and Perrin FMIC.

Looks a little better now. Spooling is very close to the stock 9.8 turbo, I was a little surprised with that. Still on the stock intake box.

Very impressive results. That must be fun car to drive as the power band looks wide.

Too bad that the price of the turbo has risen, with the original price I would buy one now

I was lucky. I paid about $800 delivered with the Evo 8 install kit. Everything brand new.

Well now you dont need to upgrade the turbo to hit 350/340. Or even 400/400, so really theres no need for this turbo spend the $800 on other mods such as SD and a good tune. Obviously other mods will be needed but nothing more than the guy has above with that 20g turbo.

If you have a Evo 8 turbo then this is an upgrade. For an Evo 9 turbo it is a little better. Similar to the old green. Nothing crazy. The spooling is very good (stock like).

You can always do other mods like SD while using the turbo. So far the turbo runs strong after a little over a year at 23~24 psi. All the tune was done by myself so I am not sure if it has more on it. I do not want to run higher boost on pump. This is a daily drive street car. No Drag for me.

With this setup I raced a 2010 BMW M3 (the V8 with 414 hp) and I was just a little faster. So that is good for me.

I have had good experience from ebay. Each have their own opinion.

So far I bought the following parts on ebay.
Fuel Pump
LICP
Cams
Valve Springs
O2 Housing
Intercooler
Turbo

So far so good. Numbers may be a little low but the tune was done at 108F and 90% RH. Even with those numbers car is very fast on the street. Stock intake and very quiet.

You only have two "ebay" or china knockoff items on your car, going by you sig. You cant count Name brand parts that you bought on ebay as ebay parts. Please update your post so people dont think the Name brand parts you have are ebay and consider buying them based on your post.

There are is no such thing as ebay parts, ebay is not a brand. Ebay is just a marketplace.

Turbo is a Kamak. http://www.kamakdynamics.com/
O2 housing is a no brand tag unit identical to Titek V2.

Everything is on my sig.

We know that. But when people say "ebay" parts they are referring to those no-name brands that are China made knockoffs. Usually there are three or four brands selling the exact same part under different forgettable unheard of names.
