Kinugawa 20G

Looks pretty cheap for what it is - has anyone got any experience with it?

I'm actually looking at the Tomei turbo. I saw this, and it seems cheap, so was interested to know if anyone has run it. Not interested in being the guinea pig!

I will find out soon. It has the same turbine as the Green and a MHI 2nd generation 20G compressor. For the price it appears to be a good deal. About 1/2 the price of a green. Spooling may be a little slower than the green because the 20G is bigger than the billet 5 blade green. It also shoud flow more than the green but less than the red.

That's completely untrue. The 20g and Green have the same inducer size (about 52mm), but the Green has a larger exducer (68 vs 69.5mm I believe). The Green also has the advantage of a thinner hub area so it can flow more with a given inducer diameter, while saving rotational weight at the same time, which should help with spool.

You are right and I said that the Green spools faster. Something is wrong with the specs. The Gruppe S site has the Green rated to 400 hp and the 20G to 450 hp.

I am sure the FP Green is a better turbo, I have no doubt about that. What I am trying to decide is if it is worth an additional $900 on top of the price of a 20G.

Well I ordered it todat. It is an OEM 9 Turbo with modified turbine TD06sl2R (11 blades like the one in the FPGreen) and a MHI 20G compressor wheel. It comes with the Evo 9 install kit (All Mitsu OEM Parts). Lets see how is it. A lot of the Subaru guys in Australia have been using it for over 1 year with great results.

Yeah but no, they put "AUTHENTIC ONLY – 100% NO FAKE ITEM" in the ad, so you know its good.

I'll say this, it doesn't carry a knock off item price. Good luck. I think I'd stick with a Green or Tomei.
