Upgrading turbo

Upgrading turbo

hey guys , ive got a 93 gsr shell full conversion to evo3 . I thinking bout upgrading the standard 16g turbo , how big should i go ? and if i do will i need to re position radiator to create some space ?upgrade manifold etc ? . cheers

Not to be an *** or anything but i would keep reading the forums and get to know more stuff about the car etc etc before upgrading to a bigger turbo. I mean you just found out that the bov was a wastegate and vise versa. Thats just my 2 cents.

But i guess if you want to go for a bigger turbo what are your plans for the car?

yea good point ,i do try to read up alot on things tho. but i learn alot quicker by asking questions about specific things . , puts things a way i understand alot better .

Well w.e your plans are if you go with a bigger turbo then your most likely gonna need Injectors,fuel pump, clutch, FMIC, and more supporting mods to hold the turbo. I don't have an evo 8 or 9 so i don't know to much about them mod wise and what you would need to support the turbo

guess i jus want it to go faster , don't wana pay an arm an a leg for it tho ,but i hav a bit of time and money i wana put in2 it , its just a first time project for me.

has got 550cc injectors , 500hp fuel pump , 5 puk heavy duty clutch , not sure what a fmic is tho ?
