Get everything replaced. Tensioners, pullies, balance shaft belt, water pump, there's a kit on mitsubishiparts.net that has everything for like $400. Best deal on the web for this. Buy everything individually and you'll pay like $700

If you are going to do the water pump, you might as well do the upper and lower radiator hoses and the thermostat as well.

Why would you do the radiator hoses and thermostat? I know the thermostats do go out from time to time, but those parts can be done if or when they fail. It's no easier to do them if you're doing your belt cause they're not even dependent on removing the belt. I would not suggest replacing those parts until they fail.

My local mitsu dealer laughed at me when I asked about it. They said they do the belt and thats it.

I Would definately order a new bolt that holds the eccentric pulley to the tensioner arm. In my opinion this is a **** poor design. I had that pulley move on me before and my car jumped time. I had the bolt uber tight too, I wasn't messing around after that so i just welded it on the backside, I will worry about it in another 60k when I have to replace it haha.

Do Everything it's cheap insurance.

Water Pump
Balance Belt Tensioner
Balance Belt
Timing Belt
Timing Belt Tensioner
Timing Belt Tensioner Pulley
Timing Belt Idler Pulley

I just had a friend who neglected doing his timing belt, he was at 60K miles and his Balance Shaft belt busted and it ended up throwing his timing belt off and he destroyed 4 of his valves. The balance shaft belt is really important, or just as important as the Timing belt. So don't half azz it.
