It looks to me that there is only one option for me, I want to make damn good power. I really appreciate all the info about the spark tech products, it looks and sounds like the best option for me. I will be ordering the spark tech system when my funds are sufficent.

After talking with Craig from Spark Tech over the last few days about the Non-CDI COP system and reviewing the data he had provided. I have made my choice to go with the Spark Tech Non-CDI system.

I have constructed and or repaired many Indy Car wiring harnesses and steering wheels so I have a little background when it comes to the construction of a wiring harness. I know quality when I see it. This is a well thought out system with all the proper wire, connectors, and assembly techniques used, no question.

Craig thank you for taking the time to explain the how and why you chose the components you did and the assembly procedures used in constructing the Non-CDI COP. I look forward to seeing it in person very soon.

Thanks again, Indy

The key to a successful result of any project is properly identifying the weak links and addressing them before pushing on. Built on reliability and performance we believe the Spark Tech Non-CDI COP resolves any ignition issues and gives us the proper foundation to conduct component evaluations. We also believe in being proactive instead of being reactive eliminating a potential issue and gaining reliability and performance at the same time.

In the Vendor Announcements I started a thread outlining Wilson Manifolds R&D program for this year https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...ns-2009-a.html . We have put our focus into two areas Bolt On, and Advanced ET components. I will run the Spark Tech Non-CDI COP in my own vehicle as we evaluate our Wilson Manifolds Bolt On components line. With this first addition to our R&D and test vehicle we will remove another variable and be able to provide data and results without the concern of an ignition related issue. The ignition system should be the first mod selected before anything else. No matter what you build, or how big you go, if there are issues with the ignition system you will not make optimum power, period.

Thanks for the kind words Indy...From Day 1 we've left NO stone unturned. We have convinced many top tuners in the Evo game, that there certainly are Gains to be had in a Properly wired and designed Ignition system.
As a company we will continue to develop NEW and Innovative systems. Our applications cover Evo 1-10 (with plans for Honda S2000 Subi Wrx our line will constantly grow) and are always open to suggestions and don't get offensive when and if questioned. If anyone has any ideas of products they will like to see come to market in the Ignition arena please feel free to pm or email us info@sparktechignitions.net

Here is a thread we started to explain WHY we do what we do and to explain our applications so you will see what best suits your needs https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...o-hotline.html

Honestly we are honored to be a part of Yours and Wilson manifolds goals for 09' I think lots more people can relate to a true street car running mid to low 11's especially on the budget most of us have to work with in these tuff economic times.

For those that mentioned the Buschur unit I would like to comment since it was brought up.

We were the first company to bring the coil on plug to the market. Our system has been proven time and time again to stand up to whatever has been thrown at it. On top of being the ignition used on the worlds FASTEST Evo which is the Buschur black drag car it is also used on many of the cars on this list with the exception of 1 or 2: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/dr...cond-club.html including the AWD motorsports 8sec street car many of their custom cars which a few are also in the single digits, David Buschur's 9.0 street car and all of the other high hp cars we put out of here.

On top of working with the factory or standalone ECU our system fits under your factory or aftermarket spark plug cover which will in turn offer the consumer a stealthy setup. We also offer a mini battery tray that the CDI box is able to be mounted to in order to keep it out of the way.

I see what the title of the thread is. I commented because someone mentioned our unit.

Whats wrong? Afraid of a little competition or just have sand in your "who who"?

P.S.- The AMS car is the quickest not the fastest.
