put the car in gear with the E brake off and rock it by pushing it to see if the motor is free. It Is not uncommon if your coolant had too much water in it it could have have frozen. in which case you do not want to start it until that thaws. could it be pushed ina garage or something??? that sounds like what it is too me... weak batteries tend to make the solenoid clicking sound....this sounds like mechanical resistance. You could break the timing belt or water pumper if you start it while it is frozen.

Its been 40+ degrees here the last few days. The temp is not the issue. The problem, if its the starter is probably from the loooonggg crank time from your tune.

If there is a hum sound from the pass. side that has nothing at all to do with your starter, as the starter is in the front of the motor more toward the driver side.....

if $183 bucks for a starter is baller status to you, then you should look into a new job...GOOD LUCK!

Nice. Well I hope you get promoted soon and put some stripes on your chest! The extra money is nice. Plus the spc duty pay of $450.00 don't hurt either
