what intercooler to get...
We hand port each inlet and outlet before welding them to the core, this is something that most manufactures do not do, we also fold the tanks in a way that minimizes welding and potential cracking in high pressure areas.
If you guys have any questions regarding our products let me know!
Thanks,
Michael
I can type about the quality of our product all day long, but pictures say everything!

Welded on the outside as well as the inside!

Hand Ported!

Zero interference in flow!

Engineered for the least possible welding and highest durability.

Beaded inlet and outlet

That's the exact same core that was used in the AL vs Brand X video... That's the Brand X Core..
or should I say Garrett 4.5" core.
thanks for the replies guys i do appreciate it. only reason i am asking what intercooler to get is because i dont have the money right now to get the buschur. i do like the buschur but its just way too expensive. ive heard nothing but good things about the perrin, ets, ams, and buschur thats basically narrowing it down. i am only worrying about heatsoaking in the summer since i havent driven my car with the current mods through the summer even though i think i should be fine because i dont race but i only drive hard on occasion...about the ebay one s2kracka idk i was thinkin it was kinda fishy too but it did say guaranteed 100% perrin or double money back haha id like to buy a knock off and get double money anyway
anyways sorry for the semi long post guys and thanks again you guys are really helpful!

If your not racing I wouldn't worry about heat soaking the stock intercooler. The used green will prob cost you 1000 and make a lot more power then an intercooler you don't need.
From Garrett's site. I'm guessing these are the two being mentioned here

I'd disagree. Even if you are right in that the stock IC doesn't heat sock (which I also disagree with) by the time he put a green on he would need an aftermarket IC anyhow.
Only way you have a hard time not heatsoaking the stock fmic is in constant 30 degree weather or running alot of meth. Anybody that has the notion that the stock intercooler is fine at higher boost levels is intercorrect. They can brag how they run 11.7 or 11.6 but wait until they do 3-4 back to back runs....or maybe how much faster they would have been with a good fmic.

At ~360whp I can heatsoak the stock intercooler on the street in 60 degree weather after 15min of driving with 3-4 pulls. Verified in my logs. I don't get to carry my laptop in my car at the track but after 4-5 autoX runs and no cooldown time on the grid you can feel the difference.

Isn't that the point? No intercooler will never heat soak...it just takes longer and/or more power to get to that point. If the stock IC does at 360hp and 3-4 back to back runs, maybe the AMS/ETS/Buschur one can do 450 and 4-5 back to back runs. None of the aftermarket IC companies are claiming to have made an IC that doesn't heat soak...they're just much more efficient.
