Everyone has their preferences, and in reality, any FMIC from a major brand is going to work very well. AMS, Buschur, Perrin, ETS, Nisei, etc. all know what they are doing and all put out a quality product. You need to learn as much as you can about each and see which best fits your needs. One product is never the best choice for everybody and every application.

Is that the buschur lower intercooler pipe made for the race front mount specifically?

here is Mr. buschur's post in another thread.

"This is not a slam against ETS but no the 3" core is not big enough. A 3" core from anyone is not big enough. In most cases I prefer to not even sell our 3.5" core. The 4" core and 4.5" core we sell as our Race and BFIC cores are what I recommend in every case."

I guess you have to have the right tools or something. I don't remember what I was using back in the day when i put on the br fmic, but I couldn't make it through the crash beam, so I just said f it. Ran it w/o it, but I wouldn't want to do that now. What is the best thing to use to modify it? I would almost rather pay someone to do it b/c it's such a *****.

I just installed the Buschur BFIC on my car. No issues with the lower pipe. The only issue I had is the crash beam would not fit trimmed and modified, I even had to cut a good part of the inside of the front bumper for it to fit.

You can use the crash beam with their race fmic. vwjeff has a post on here somehwere where he modded the crash beam to work with the race fmic.

Good luck with your choice.

The ETS 3" core is a great option for someone on a budget with some basic bolt-on mods not looking to max out the stock turbo but still wants a nice upgrade from stock. Running the ETS 3" with a Red though isn't a great option; the ETS 3.5" or 4" would definitely be beneficial.

Call down ThumbDick, I only asked to see the link so that many of us can see for ourselves. Was that so bad? Jeez! Take a chill pill.

By the way that vid was done at ICS. Care to tell us who is brand X because George and Al never mentioned it. Oh I forgot we are to assume it's ETS. How stupid of me!

And kudos to Big Al and George K for making that vid.

Buschur's positive results don't surprise me in the least but I still wanted to see the results.
I know Dave knows what he's doing. I've known him for over 15 yrs!

Judging by your grammer skills and reading conprehension I'm guessing you have the education of a 3rd grader. I shouldn't have expected much from someone that goes by the name "ceegutta." I already posted the link and if you were smart enough you would have read that. You're the one that needs to take a chill pill.

Where is he link on the comparison between the ETS core 4.5" and the Buschur/Garrett core done by dynoflash? Which core r u actually using?
Alot of us would like to see the testing done vs just hearing folks say "Buschur,ETS,Buschur,ETS"! I've heard that they r both good.

Please post the link!

Remember that post? I mean look at all those freaking uneccesary exclamation points. You're right that it was done at ICS but the test was done by Al from DYNOFLASH you idiot, when did I say it wasn't done there? Brand X was the ETS core because I read on the forums where Al said it was an ETS core but it wasn't stated in the video.
