we try to stay out of the drama by not posting, but when you get a bunch of people that are mis informed we have to chime in from time to time.

Thanks!

Here is also a link of the customer posting that it's a garrett core.

PS Tom knew I ordered my turbo kit from Mike @ AWD and he went out of his way to call him to find out the perfect placement ofr my LICP for a flawless fit. PICS soon to follow with a BEFORE AND AFTER with the intercooler. This is the 4.5 inch Garrett core rated to 950BHP. thanks guys! Would love to hear your stories of content.

What intercooler core do you use on your 4inch intercoolers and why don't you use the Garrett cores?

Thanks,

Can you use the 3.5 inch and keep the crash bar w/o modification? I know you have to trim other pieces, but....

Thanks for the replies guys! The 3.5" requires no trimming of the bumper beam, it's a direct replacement of the factory intercooler.

We designed our core for a couple reasons. The main reason is we build a lot of intercooler kits for cars that did not come with a factory front mount intercoolers. This is a problem when using a really dense external fin pack since most cars do not have ducting to get air to the radiator. If we use a garrett core the cars tend to over heat, where our cooler allows enough air to pass through and still keep the temps way down. The internal design of the Garrett is very similar to our design.

If you have a couple minutes check out this tech article regarding our intercoolers.

Thanks again!

Is there any price difference between ordering the 3.5in in your core or the 24x12x3.5in garrett core? As far as on evos go have you found any cooling differences between the two cores?

The customer requested the biggest garrett core and that is what he receieved. The only cores we have avaiable are 3.0" , 3.5" , 4.0" , 5.0" and 6.0" no 4.5" unless it's a Garrett Core.

Cliffs: The intercoolers in the video are both GARRETT CORES.

Thanks,

Michael
Ok well if thats the case can you guys tell me why there isnt any markings in the core like there is on EVERY garrett core?
