HAs anyone ran a ported mani then changed to a fullrace (or eqiv) and thier exhaust note/tone changed?

It will change considerably with any tubular manifold.

you know tell me the difference between the full race pro stock manifold old and new seems to me that the old one over the other pipes around also had the largest diameter .

Meccano - the changes to the full-race pro stock manifold were entirely in the head flange's CNC port design and the runner geometry for slight gains in flow. The diameter of the runners has not changed.

FYI - this runner dia is the identical runner diameter we use on our Twinscroll T4 evo manifold that has been proven to generate a broad powerband even over 700hp. This is also the same runner size we use for almost all time attack and drift appliocations require a broad powerband and good top end power.. The big runner design is used only for very high power drag race applications OR singlescroll T3. i hope this helps answer your questions

Its insane how much you can spend on a manifold for a stocker. I saw the shearer for 1200, but I'm sure you get great quality.
