CEL P0202. Pls help!

Hey guys hows it going? I have a 03 Evo 8, I was driving this morning to go to work and when i came to the stop light. CEL pops on and code was for # 2 Cylinder Misfire and a DTC P0202 Inj. 2 Circuit Malfunction.

Has anyone here ever gotten this code and wut the problem was?

Im getting voltage in my # 2 Inj. Connector and the Inj. Ohms out like the rest of them at 2.4 Ohms.

I also tried to swap Coils from 2 to 4 just to see if its spark related but its still in that Cylinder.

Thanks

Francis

Have you pulled that plug??? Maybe its not tight or maybe its shot which can be an indication of a more serious issue

Thanks for responding guys.. Yeah sorry i forgot to mention that.. I did pull the plugs and even swaped plug 2 to plug 3 to see if the problem would go to the Number 3 cylinder.. Didnt happen.

Im still going to be replacing the plugs tho since they dont look too good. but yeah im going to work on it tomorrow when i get to work in the morning so i hope i find out what the problem is.

most of the time you would only swap plugs and coils if you have a cycinder misfire code. i would use a voltmeter etc. to check the trigger side of the injector harness. and or swap #1 and #2 injectors and erase the code. if the code comes back on for a different cylinder than that injector is the fault. replacing parts can get expinsive.
