Works is the only company that I know of that will allow you to buy exhaust components ala cart and everyone of their components is interchangeable with OEM. Not cheap though. But their quality and finish are better than most. So you could buy the cat and muffler. Then buy the intermediate pipe and downpipe later.

alloyic rs,

I agree, if you are planning on doing our full 3" turbo back don't waste the $300 on the axle back/offroad pipe now.

The axle back/offroad pipe is a good gain in power and the noise level is still not too loud as the factory catback tubing has a couple of resonators in it. It is actually more restrictive than the factory cat!

We sell our exhaust system pieces seperately too. You can buy just our downpipe, cat or cat back and it all bolts to the stock cat and such. We just package it as a complete system at a big discount and then ship it for free, it's to save our customers money.

No, I can't get the HKS exhaust to go on because of the tip angle. I will sell the HKS exhaust system to you though, we are an HKS Pro dealer.

David,

Are the JDM style exhausts with blue tips still available? I really would like to get one of those for x-mas.

Hi David - So, your 3" catback will bolt on to a compteitor's 3" cat without any tapers - is that a correct assumption to make !?! Thanks!

I'm running Buschur's SCCA 3" catback with a Magnaflow muffler and the Works 3" HFC. Fits fine. No neckdowns.

The JUNBL system looks beautiful. Korean made if I am not mistaken. Probably too loud for my tastes. The muffler is a little on the small side. I run a double Magnaflow setup myself. I have the Buschur Magnaflow catback + I cut the intermediate pipe and installed another 4" canister. No restrictions with a full 3" inside diameter but additional sound suppression. I found that my high flow cat made even the Buschur Magnaflow setup resonate too loudly in the car (and outside as evidenced by other people's car alarms).

Also, the JUNBL setup is compatible only with a JUNBL high flow cat (assuming they make one) since they use V band flanges.

Exclamation

If you want to buy just the Bushur cat back, make sure that he welds a 3 inch flage so that it matches up with the "non-bushur" cat.

I had a problem where I bought a Bushur 3 inch catback with magnaflow and had a Helix hi flow cat. Bushurs catback is made to work with Bushur cat (slipfit) and it does not use a 3 bolt flange.....I had to call Bushur back and order a 3' flange ($40) and pay someone to weld it....more $$$$.

So the total Bushur turbo back system cost me around $600 when not used with Bushurs cat....I hope this is just "smart marketing"...?

Buschur sells their SCCA 3" catback with a 3" flange welded on so bolts to the stock cat or any bolt on high flow cat. That's what I've got.
