REAR Quaife LSD
Does anybody have it? What are the advantages of it?
This is the only 1 i have found

I'm thinking of upgrading my OPEN LSD which comes stock on the 03' Evo 8 and putting a much stronger LSD, that will reduce my wheel spin off the line. My only concern is will my axles handle the grip?

All evo's came from the factory with an LSD in the rear.
The xfer case contains the front diff. Then the front to rear split is managed via viscous coupler and some other fancy diff in the tranny.

I'm looking for QUAIFE LSD, REAR. I need something stronger. I've heard of people putting the Quaife in the front but not the rear.
Im asking about the 03 Evo 8

That's probably because even the big boyz with 9 second evos are still running the stock rear diff. They have a bigger problem with axles than diffs. You should pull the rear diff and flip flop the plates so they lock up harder and faster. TRE posted a how-to.
