I just finished building a 2.3l. I went with manley rods weisco pistons. New bearings and new crank. I will be running the the buschur fs635. My goal is to put down just over 600whp. The head was ported. Supertech Dual springs and supertech valves. Where in NJ are you loctaed? Your more then welcomed to come by and check out the motor.

with my 2.3L stoker, i went with pauter rods, wiesco pistons, and a built head on a gt35r, and I love it!! I've never had any problems with it at all.... The only thing I want to change is maybe going to a bigger turbo....

I can vouch for this motor, it's going to be nice when its all said and done.

Can't wait for that thing to be back in action.

I built my 2.3 liter engine using Ross pistons and oliver rods and it's been doing fine for going on 2.5 years now.

well .... as my luck goes , my green blew tonight... split the impeller shaft in two... nasty sh*t! i swore to myself the next time my car was off the road for a little while i'd pull the motor... due to lack of $$$ i currently have i will probably not change the stroke... im thinking some manely rods and cp pistons, bearings , oil pump , and bring the crank to the machine shop to get checked out...

since i'll be keeping it a 2.0 i was planing to spool the larger than average turbo with a wet fogger (50-75hp shot)....(keep in mind that this is a drag use car with minimal street driving) now before everyone chews me out about the no2, let me just say ...... if your going to just talk sh*t about spray cuz you've had no experience with it , or some friend of a friend put a 100shot on a button in his grandmas crown vic and blew the motor, i really dont need to hear what you have to say..thanks... but if you have some real insight about the topic i would love to know what you think...

is spooling a gt35r (or similar sized turbo) on a 2.0L with a wet fogger going to be a power making combo, or does the bottom end need more then a 2.0L???

well if its a drag only car spool really shouldn't be an issue you'd more or less be using the no2 as a power adder.
