Not an "easy" job, but not super tough either, but you are getting into the bottom end, so taking care and knowing what you are doing is obviously important. The transfer case and oil pan have to be pulled obviously. Maybe popping in a new set of rod bearings at the same time is a good idea if the ones in there arent in great condition.
Wow, I didn't know that the transfer case needed to be pulled. Will keep the wick turned down until I'm ready to dig in.

English Racing had a car running 700+ WHP on a stock motor! Heres the kicker....it was tuned to keep the WTQ around 400whp. No issues.

Its NOT WHP on stock motor that matters most....it's WTQ and RPM's that matters.

all it takes is some preignition to crack a piston or bend a rod...

It couldn't hurt, but it is usually done when building the bottom end.

IF thats all that needs to be done then this shouldnt be hard. Is there too much stuff in the way to remove it? Your experiences would be helpful.
