Having sufficient flow on tap allows one to fix leaks while the leaks still exist. You have 0-35psi on tap that will not take 10 minutes to build up those pressures.

I've been doing boost leak tests for 14 years.

^ it took 4 pages to understand why air was getting into the oil system bud... knowing the reason behind it and getting input from professionals makes me feel a whole lot better... after all that's what this forum is for...

What I'm saying is... if you can't find a leak that needs more air volume than a schrader valve supports, then you don't need an air leak tester to find that you didn't put a coupler back on. Either that or you need to turn down your radio. It takes a matter of seconds (2-3) to pressurize the whole system through a schrader valve... so don't tell me it takes too long.

The length of which you do something doesn't correlate to the correctness of how you did it.

Uh... the ole schrader valve works quite well and can pressuirze the system in a few seconds, and this as at 25 psi... If you have a leak its not rocket science, nor should it take 10 minutes trying to figure out where the leaks coming from.... why try to over engineer it...

Tom no problem buddy, let me know if you need anything else okay!

Same for me, the tire valve works great. A few seconds of compressed air and I'm up to 20-25psi on my boost guage.
