Oil light flickers on and off at idle?
Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? This morning on my way to work I noticed that when my car was idling (at a red light, in traffic, etc.), the oil light was flickering on and off. Now I do have bigger cams and sometimes the idle gets rough and during those "rough patches" that's when the light would be going crazy.
Anyone know the cause of this? I checked my oil level, and that was fine. Is it a bad sensor? Is it the bigger cams? I mean I've had my cams for almost a year now and this is the first time this has happened...Help please!

Many times it is corrosion on the sensor connection or the sensor is out of range. Sensor is fairly cheap to replace. If you replace it, be sure to put some di-electric grease on the the connection to prevent it from happening again.
