O2 Eliminator Downpipes?

I come from a DSM background and I know that if you run a 3" O2 Eliminator Downpipe you'll get boost creep.
Is this is the same on the Evo 8?
From the DSMs you need to port the wastegate on the turbo, will this work on the Evo?

We don't have an 02 sensor on the downpipe.

He means O2 housing slick... so far it appears that the few running an O2 eliminator downpipe have experienced no creep. The only two companies offering them for the US Evos, to my knowledge, is AMS (not to market yet) and RNR...

G2 Racer, Vishnu Tuning sells a exhaust system that elimiates the O2 housing. The install is a little involved but other than that it is really sweet.

You can see it here and hear it here.

I didn't get a before dyno but other stock EVOs were dyno'ing 215HP/225TRQ on same dyno as I dyno'ed 236HP/243TRQ with nothing but the exhaust.

You won't get boost creep with our 02 elim downpipe. I am unsure about other companies. We have had good sucess with the unit so far.

Forgive my old mind... it gives out on me from time to time. I forgot that Vishnu had released theirs.

I'm probably going to give RNR's O2 eliminator downpipe a try, and if I don't have the time to built my own cat-back exhaust, try their resonated cat-back offering... Figure if I could build aircraft, a cat-back exhaust should be easy enough.

PS the above pic of the RNR looks really nice... RNR had said they were going to move the O2 bung out of the wastegate exhaust path... I'd like to see some new pics.

Ya, we moved them out of the wastegate path. I just don't have any pics of them right now. We have been selling the new way for a little while now. Maybe one of our customers could post their pic.
