Im all about being different i go to plenty of shows and i dont like to mirror another car if you feel me. i was going to get a shearer when mike at awd was pushing it then he stopped made me leary of it so i might just comp full race OH forgot one thought about AFI manny looks nice and not to many people running that
If its 20whp on a mustang dyno its worth it to me also for $1000 i wont deny that. the extra gain, plus the much more appealing look under the hood is well worth it. you should make a new thread and ask which manifold is the best for your needs. im pretty sure the full race has no downfalls with it, but i could be wrong. If you're working with a 2.3L its not like you need anymore low end power anyways, its gonna have plenty of that and it will spool the red up probably by 3k

I was about to say I wouldn't be going your route man if you're in cali. That will get you pulled over for sure.

ya i seen your mods awhile ago, for you the aftermarket manifold will probably be the better route. what do you plan to rev to though?

hell run it with no exhaust and it will sound like a v8 on crack. tell them its got a vette motor in it but you cant pop the hood because as the engine heats up it temp welds the hood shut.

ill tell you what my dad told me about my build. WHATS THE POINT. where are you going to go besides the track where your going to need 600hp or a 9 sec car. I got to get to work yea right lol. sooo how many people or rather cars can actually mess with a 500+whp evo thats runs 10s not many how many cars are you trying to beat besides a corvette. none not trying to make a dynoqueen or garage queen or trailor queen DD and show car so running less than 10.5 is not a option not proving anything but how much more money i can waste to get there gutting cageing etc then that completely removes the DD aspect.
