my red see's 20+ psi by 4K.

Also - I had zero creep when I ran the turbo at 18psi.

dang no support?! thats crazy. i love the sound of and hta35. one of my really close friends has an open scroll hta35r and its fully built(went 10.5) and that thing sounds like a jet on the road man. with his antilag popping between gears its absoulutly amazing!!!

i was planning on the whole fp oil line set(warranty) and thanks for the torque advice... no good to break new partts

I think 4k is a little excessive. I think with my setup I can do 25psi by 3800rpm. Tons of things can effect spoolup though, including timing, boost leaks, etc etc.

edit: actually I know i can do 30psi by 3800, because when I first took the car out after doing a boost leak test i had my MBC cranked to the max and i hit 30psi before 4k it was right around 3500-3800, its almost as fast as a 16g as far as response time. is yours ported?

ya just get the stocker ported. If you need it done fast go through buschur, if you can wait 1-2 weeks then bob from map.

edit: also as you know the 80mm fp red does not look like a stock compressor at all. I dont know how smart the cops are out there, but if you put them side by side the 80mm version of the red looks much different / bigger then the stock 9 housing.

porting will allow for more power uptop and since you'll be keeping the stock manifold, you wont sacrifice any mid/low end tq. If times not an issue then I have to suggest bob from map since he did an incredible job on my manifold. the porting should help assist in turbo spool slightly as well.

god im sorry the stock exhaust manny to me is ugly and i rather have tubular way more power up top for sure and dont act like the turbotrix shearer borla fullrace are not worth a damn. people have gain 15-21 whp off just a tubular manny. I got a spare evo 8 turbo ported with manny for 30 dollars shipped lol and its in my closet collecting dust i was going to have it ported/coated but i like the look of opening the hood and seeing the manny not the mention the added power gains.

of course it looks ugly, thats why you use the stock heatshield. Its not worth losing the mid range power when you're investing in a turbo that can utilize the stock manifold just fine.

Heres a pic of my current engine bay now does this look ugly? Its not done yet, and im not happy with my engine bay as of yet but you cant say the manifolds ugly because its covered:
