Hi everyone..I m living in Turkey and i bought a 2000 miles Evo 7 last week..The car of my dreams..The car is now at 2400 and I didn't do any launches but my clutch is slipping in 4th and 5th about 300-400 rpm's..I dont wanna put the stock clutch on it again couse I thýnk it is not a good one..Can someone recommend for me a clutch that I can use in everyday and often in traffic?.. I'm desperate..

same thing happend to me with my evo 8 but at 5000 miles..... i got the RMR 6 puck clutch becuse its just the disk and saves me alot of money on full clutch packages.... they go for about 200... you should look into it..... i've been launching hard and hasn't burnt at all...

note: its a bit rough on stop n go when u first put it on but once the clutch breaks in its feels same as stock but holds alot better

 

Thanks for infirmation..I looked at at the clutch that you are using on your Evo 8 in the web..But one thing i cant understand that,they say that this clutch fits Evo 8..Ýs that product fits in my Evo 7?..

 

I have an EVO7 RS2, the EVO8 and 7 clutches are the same, the one I got, is the Spec- Stage 4 with the 6puck disc with springs, from the EVO8 USDM.

 

i got a evo 7 gsr.
the stock clutches are really a waste.
i bought a HKS twin disc clutch and installed it.it comes with hks pressure plate and flywheel.
it works great for everyday driving and even better for racing.
was the best investment i made!
