There goes the clutch...

Noticed tonight MAJOR slipping of my clutch Only smoked it maybe twice and that was about 2000 miles ago (near 4000 now). Few questions:

I'm probably going to get the stage3 kit. How's the engagement on it?

How much (on average) should I pay for a clutch install

How long on average for the install

How long is the break in period for it?

Thanks all

Did you change the tranny and differential fluids yet, or did the ss line and restrictor thing? Just curious on how I can save my clutch

You know what's funny? I just got my stainless steel clutch line 2 days ago and was going to have it installed along with my fluids flushed, my clutch bleed and adjusted this week.

Ok...

10 Hours Aprox- Around 500 Dollars for the install
(Some shops will get done faster and charge more per hour, some longer and charge less)
50Hr for a good mechanic...65Hr for a shop

I just purchased a cusco twin-plate with carbon disks...
Call adam at Z1 he will hook you up!
Don't go with a single-plate... I will feel like a mustang (pedal pressure)

Carbons last substantially longer than cero-metallic. The Cusco unit is excellent.
