Cant shift fast!

I have an Exedy stage 1 in my car its a 05 with 66k miles on it. the clutch has around 1.5k miles on it. i cant throw gears fast it locks me out and i have to wait like a second or two to throw the gear. ive heard adjusting the clutch pedal can fix this anyone had this and fixed it?
btw 1 to 2 is ok 2 to 3 is little worse 3 to 4 is just horrible.

yes, adjust your clutch pedal

also invest in solid underhood shifter bushing

Same problem.

I've adjusted my clutch pedal and installed underhood bushing. The problem isn't as bad, but it's still there. I've found that I only get locked out or 2nd and 4th. I end up grinding 4th because while I'm still trying to pull back on the shifter, I re-engage the clutch and still forcing the shifter back resulting is a grind. So I know it's not the trans or bad synchro. It's just me not catching the lock-out in time. Drivers error

I have found that while shifting to second if I pull back really hard and slightly to the left it usually works. Not lock-out, no grind, but still added effort.

I have my clutch grabbing about 1/2 way to 2/3's off the floor. I figured that'd be enough. Sometimes, when the car is car cold, at a stand still, the car will jerk very slightly when I go from neutral to first with the clutch depressed. I'm assuming this is an indication the clutch needs to be further adjusted?

High RPM lock-out seems to be a commen issue with aftermarket clutches.

Maybe I got lucky but when I switched to the Exedy Twin I don't get locked out or grind when shifting fast.

I have the Buschur soild aluminum bushings. They're only $30 and easy as pie to install. Removing your strut bar eases installation. You can remove the battery to to make it even easier but it's defiantly not necessary.
