Anyone with knowledge or experience troubleshooting would be very helpful. Ive been driving my car as usual and I noticed not that long ago that it would backfire once at high rpm, and then I slowly noticed it get worse and worse, for example(bear with me) when you give it heavy throttle, itll rev up and then boom boom boom boom rapidly, and it sounds as if its sputtering or backfiring, and its gotten to the point where its not even fun to drive. I thought it was the plugs, and I changed them, and it was much better for about a day then got worse. One factor to keep in mind is its tuned for the cutout to be open, but ive been driving with it closed since ive had it, for about 2 months, and it never happened. my personal thoughts would be either a problem with the ignition, the cams and such, or possibly the chillier weather-? also I have no rev limiter, could over revs cause this?

That is a personal preference. OE are good for what I need. If you have an "Evo Buddy" try to borrow his coils to see if it solves your problem. Before you buy.
