Connecting brass fitting to intake pipe

What should I use in terms of a sealant? Any ideas? The fitting wouldn't thread into the pipe. Kind of stripped the threads. It sits in there pretty tight but it needs something to secure it.

JB-Weld JB-KWIK works excellent, it seals the fitting and will add some support to keep the fitting in a thin walled pipe.

It also is reasonably easy to remove if needed.

Thanks for the responses. Much appreciated. I figured something like JB Weld would work considering there isn't boost running through the intake tube.

I made an attempt to source some stainless fittings locally, but the only place I could find wanted like $50 for two fittings. I am just going to keep the brass and throw some JB Weld or Loctite Blue on there. If it doesn't work I will get some stainless fittings and have them welded on, but I think the JB method should work just fine.
